Love, is arguably the strongest emotion on earth, a source which motivates acts of selflessness and heroism; we spend our time chasing after it, dreaming about it and seeking it. We all want to find true love but is it possible that we are looking for something that has already been found? On the tag attached to your Creme egg, the verse asks:

Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us?

As love is one of the strongest emotions on the planet then we as Christians believe that God who made everything – including love – must have the most perfect and deep love imaginable. He gives us so many examples of His love in the Bible but at Easter time He showed how deep His love is for you and me. He sent His only Son Jesus, from Heaven to earth to die with the sole purpose of forgiving us for every wrong act, thought, desire or attitude. The verse asks, could anything drive a wedge between Christ’s love for us? The answer lies in the verses to follow:

There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture.

God’s love goes beyond what would test human love to the breaking point, even when we feel unlovable or unloved, the Bible says:

I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
