Missions update (David & Lisette Williams)

David and Lisette are on board Operation Mobilisation’s Logos Hope, currently in dry dock in Subic Bay, Philippines for some essential maintenance. The maintenance has taken longer than initially expected, and as a result they have had to cancel some of the planned ports on their way to Hong Kong where they are still scheduled to arrive for Christmas.

During this extended dry dock the staff on board have been working in conjunction with local churches in the area in a number of different ministry areas. While David has been kept busy with refitting work in the engine room Lisette has been involved in her role as Associate Personnel Manager, and with a crew change-over of 90 new recruits who have joined the ship in the last 2 weeks its certainly been a busy time for them as a couple.

In terms of resources the ship still needs additional engineers, especially a long term Chief Engineer to replace the current Chief who will be leaving post in November. David, Lisette and the rest of the crew would value your prayers for this particular aspect of the ministry, and that God would continue to help and protect them in these busy days in dry dock.
