Christian Vision for Men

CVM … connecting men to Jesus and the church to men.

CVM is thrilled and delighted to announce a new partnership with Ulster Rugby working with their team in Northern Ireland to win men to Jesus. Last year’s Heineken Cup finalists and current leaders of the RaboDirect PRO12 League are in phenomenal form, with several key Christian players; New Zealanders, South African’s & Irish internationals in the 1st team squad. The club has seen an unbelievable turn around in the last 5 years, both on and off the field, something we don’t see as a coincidence.

This has lead to an influx of requests from churches and other ministries throughout Northern Ireland for the players to speak at various services and events. The players have so many demands on their time, not least with their families and own church commitments, but are very keen to reach many people with the good news of the gospel.

To help them make witness to the love and power of Christ they are embarking on a number of events with CVM throughout Ulster in 2013, holding events where local churches, local rugby players and schools would be invited.

Using CVM’s 4-level evangelism strategy, Ulster Rugby will offer churches, men’s groups and rugby clubs a set amount of discounted tickets for one of Ulster’s home games at Ravenhill. This will be a fantastic night out for everyone and more importantly an event and environment an unsaved man would gladly go too. Two or three weeks after each selected game CVM will host a large event in each area where churches will be invited to unite together to come and hear the player’s stories of how Jesus changed their lives. Our events for the 2012/13 season are:

Monday 25 March 2013, 7:30pm – Seven Towers Leisure Centre, Ballymena.
Join Johann Muller, Ruan Pienaar and other members of the Ulster 1st Team Squad to hear their life changing stories. Doors open 6:45pm.
